Nurai, I know that a lot of the pain between us was caused by my own actions. I've been thinking about everything lately, and the more I think about it, the more I realize how many times I let you down, how many promises I failed to keep, and how many times I made you feel like you weren't getting the love and attention you deserved from me.
You trusted me, and I gave you promises that I couldn't keep. I know that after a while, words probably stopped meaning as much because my actions weren't matching them. And I understand that. You deserved someone who stood by his words — someone you didn't have to keep hoping would change.
I also want to be honest about something I've handled terribly. Lately, trading has been taking a serious toll on me emotionally. I kept losing trades, getting frustrated with myself, and instead of dealing with those feelings like I should have, I let that frustration affect the way I treated you.
You weren't the reason I was frustrated. You weren't responsible for my losses, my bad days, or my inability to manage my own emotions. But somehow, I let you feel the consequences of all of it — and that's something I genuinely regret.
You deserved my patience, but I gave you my frustration. You deserved my affection, but sometimes I gave you distance. You deserved my time, but I was so caught up in my own problems that I failed to give you enough of it. And you deserved for me to keep my promises — but I let you down over and over again.
I'm not telling you this to justify anything. Losing trades doesn't excuse treating you differently. Being stressed doesn't excuse breaking promises. And having problems of my own doesn't give me the right to make someone I care about feel unwanted. I know that now, and I wish I'd understood it sooner.
